BioWare the creators of the Mass Effect series, the Dragon Age franchise and Star Wars: The Old Republic, just announced that their newest title Command and Conquer: Generals 2 is in the works and will be coming exclusively to the PC in 2013.

Generals 2, The sequel to the 2003 PC real time strategy spin-off, takes place ten years after the events in Generals and the world is actually at peace with a landmark peace treaty about to be signed. But moments before that happens, a terrorist attack takes away all of the world leaders in attendance. After this huge global tragedy it's up to you, to assume the worldleader's roles, take command of their forces and conquer global terrorism once and for all.

In the game players will take control of three unique factions in a single-player campaign, and with friends online in cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes. Command and Conquer: Generals 2 is powered by Frostbite 2 tech, and a teaser trailer of the game can be found here.
